An epoxy coated copper busbar, or insulated copper busbar, is a T2 copper flat conductor fully covered by a protective epoxy coating that bonds directly to the copper surface. Its job is safety: the insulation forms a barrier between adjacent live conductors and between conductors and grounded metal, preventing accidental contact and short circuits inside crowded panels where bars run close together. The coating is applied at a controlled thickness with special attention to edge sealing, because edges are where moisture penetration and insulation failures typically begin. After coating, samples are checked for dielectric strength and flexed to confirm the film does not crack under installation bending. Underneath, the conductor stays standard T2 - Cu ≥99.90%, ≥97.3% IACS - in the usual 2.7-12 mm by 15-125 mm range, 6000 mm standard length, produced to GB/T5585.1-2026.

Packaging & Transportation
Busbars are wrapped in bubble film to protect surfaces from scratching and impact, bundled in order, and extra-long profiles are fixed onto solid wooden pallets. We support factory pickup and delivery to a nearby port under EXW or FOB terms. Any shipment damage is handled on photo evidence; logistics-related claims are supported through the freight forwarder.

After coating we inspect every piece for bubbles, cracks and edge sealing, confirm coating thickness, and run dielectric strength and flex tests on batch samples. Third-party inspection of the material and coating is welcome.
