Variable Thickness for Different Needs
Our step copper busbar does not have uniform thickness from end to end. It looks like stair steps. One section is thick. Another section is thin. The thick section carries high current. The thin section works for bending or installation. This variable cross-section design meets both conductivity and assembly requirements. Our team makes multiple passes when processing this product. First we cut the thick section to an intermediate size. Then we cut it to the final size. Each pass depth must be calculated carefully. Otherwise the dimensions go out of tolerance.
Custom Specifications
Step copper busbar follows your custom drawings. The material is T2 copper. Production follows GB/T5585.1-2026. Copper purity is above 99.90%. Total impurities stay within 0.10%. Conductivity is not less than 97.3% IACS. Resistivity at 20°C does not exceed 0.0177 Ω·mm²/m. Density is 8.9 g/cm³. Tensile strength ranges from 220 to 260 MPa. Yield strength is above 170 MPa. Hardness falls between 65 and 90 HV. Elongation is not less than 17%.
Multiple-Pass Machining for Accuracy
Our team sets up multiple machining steps based on your drawings. We measure dimensions after each step. Third-party inspection is welcome. Our raw material inventory stays well-stocked. We deliver custom orders within one to two weeks after receiving drawings. The minimum order is 1000 kilograms. Every piece of step copper busbar we produce meets your thickness transition requirements.
Variable-Section Connections
Step copper busbar is used for conductive connections that need variable cross-sections. It is also suitable for installations with limited space. The material meets T2 copper standards for life. We do not offer free samples. Custom orders require 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is paid before shipping. We support EXW and FOB terms. USD, EUR, and CNY are accepted.
